Adriana Malfatti
Adriana is the CEO, co-founder and producer of The Thinklab, a production company focused primarily on developing and producing original animation and live-action projects. She also leads international co-productions in collaboration with major international studios, streaming platforms and broadcasters. She is currently producing the animated feature film Evolution and the live-action thriller series Where Deamons Cry.
Julio Soto
Julio, co-founder of The Thinklab, is a director, screenwriter, and producer with 20+ years of experience in films, documentaries, and TV. His recent works include Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow (HBO Top 3) and Deep (Netflix Top 50). He is currently finishing his work on Evolution and preparing his next feature Metal Heroes. He is also a diver, sailor, and amateur biologist.
José Tatay
Tatay is the creative director and co-founder of The Thinklab. Before that he founded the agency 210, where he created campaigns for brands like Dell, Microsoft, and Canon, earning two EFFI Awards. As co-creator and co-writer of "Inspector Sun" and "Deep", he combines his passion for storytelling with his love of nature and conservation.
Eneko Gutiérrez
Eneko Gutiérrez, former producer at Zeta Studios, managed distribution for major Spanish blockbusters like Zipi y Zape and Tengo Ganas de Ti. Now a partner and strategic consultant at The Thinklab, he oversees film distribution and releases, while producing features, documentaries, and series for platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Zayra Muñoz
Zayra is on of the leading Spanish animation specialists. She began her career in editing and assistant directing (My Beautiful Dacia, Dissection of a Storm) and has spent the past decade coordinating and directing animation teams. Her latest projects include "Inspector Sun", "Deep" and and is currently co-directing "Evolution" at The Thinklab, applying her extensive technical and creative expertise.
Richard Hierner
Richard has a background in Venture Capital and tech-sales in Spain, Germany and the UK. He recently specialised in Film Business with a special focus on Spain. He is a passionate sailor, mountaineer and vegan advocate.
Eva Lei
Eva graduated as a Senior Technician in Audiovisual Production and Event Management and began her career in 3D animation at The Thinklab, working as a Production Assistant (Inspector Sun and later on Evolution). She is currently involved in the pre-production of an animated series and has also worked as a filmmaker on creative projects such as afterparties, making-ofs, and short documentaries.
Irune Aguirreazaldegui
Irune holds a BFA in Digital Art and Animation and has worked on projects ranging from leading a 3D short film with her university team to illustrating the theatrical adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel, Witness for the Prosecution. She is currently a Production Assistant at The Thinklab on the animated feature Evolution. She balances work with outdoor sports and volunteer work.
