Deep: The Dreamer
Deep is a young deep-sea octopus: brave, idealistic, and quite reckless, too! He thinks he is the fastest creature in the sea and will defy anyone who thinks otherwise. Once his stepfather dies, being the last of his kind, Deep decides to lead his friends to search for the Ark. Throughout his journey, he will discover true friendship from those who once were simply playmates, and will gain the respect of all the creatures of the deep. His self-sufficient attitude will evolve into a real sense of sacrifice, joy for life, and love.
Evo is an angler fish who looks really fierce but who would never hurt anyone. Instead, he has a really brilliant mind inside that big, bumpy head. He is what you might call a nerd of the abyss! He is very able to retain data, references, and conversations with mathematical precision, but due to a speech impediment, he is very shy and tries not to speak in public. His epic journey will put to the test his insecurities, getting him the respect of every other fish.

ALICE: The NUTTY SHRIMP
Alice is an extremely nervous deep-sea shrimp that can barely keep quiet. Her specialty is to contradict the others, always saying the wrong thing at the wrong time! She is rarely taken seriously by her friends, who think she is a little bit… well, unstable. But Alice has skills that will prove very useful: she does not know the meaning of fear and she is the only one of them that can walk on dry land.

Luigi is an enormous walrus that spent most of his life working as a special forces “seal” operative, a job for which he was trained since he was a baby. He aims to do that even if there are no more humans to follow orders from. This evil walrus is also an extremely narcissistic creature who has imprisoned all the other creatures at The Ark so that he can have an audience for his war stories. Whoever does not laugh at his jokes will end up in his stomach!
Darcy is the perfect acolyte, the evil companion, the one acting always in the shadow and planning all evil. Darcy pretends to follow Luigi’s orders although he is in fact the real “mastermind” behind the tyranny in The Ark. Darcy knows his survival depends on his ability to control Luigi without him noticing. He embodies the essence of all that is evil: selfish, mean, ugly, destructive, cowardly, and phony.

RALPH. The silly dolphin
Like Darcy, Ralph is a minion to Luigi’s whims. Unlike the average dolphin, Ralph is rather “stupid,” a fact that makes him unable to carry out even the easiest missions. Not only that, he is rather clumsy too. His inability to perform or memorize even the simplest moves usually results in him ruining Luigi and Darcy’s plans. If there is a weak link in Luigi and Darcy’s master plans... it is definitely Ralph.
